This council provides advice and guidance to the pastor on matters relating to finance, administration, personnel, buildings, and related infrastructure.
In addition to ongoing activities, the council spent a great deal of time managing the expansion and renovation of the centre, initiated in the fall of 2001. New equipment was also purchased, especially for the kitchen. As well, the council liaised with the board of directors of the centre who are responsible for its day-to-day operation. It is important to note that all work at the centre was completed using current investments. The facility is thus debt-free, and the council is very pleased that it has once again become a focal point for the activities of the parish.
